Katherine joined KAEE in 2020 and is an experienced educator, program organizer, and exhibit designer.  Prior to working with KAEE, Katherine was the Discovery Education Director at The Living Arts & Science Center in Lexington, for more than 14 years. She has particular interests in hands-on, experiential, place based learning and loves connecting educators and learners to quality environmental resources and experiences in Kentucky. Katherine is the Kentucky Project WILD state coordinator and as the Education Director she oversees KAEE's Facilitator Network, Membership, the Kentucky Green Schools program and annual events such as the Outdoor Learning Symposium (OLS), Core Curriculum Program Trainings (CCPT), and Facilitator Training programs. Katherine is passionate about helping people explore the outdoors, and in her free time enjoys doing the same with family and friends.
